BIRTH

Coma were born almost by accident during a Jam Session in a pub in Cagliari, it was a late midsummer night in 2001.
The four founders were Antonio Sanna (voice + guitar), Emanuele Mura (guitar), Fabio Sinibaldi (bass guitar) and Davide Casti (drums). After that experience they started rehearsing together playing covers of their favourite bands (mainly Metallica, Anthrax and Overkill).
In September they decide to start writing their own songs; as a tribute to Overkill, they decide to call the band Coma, like the opener track from the album Horrorscope.
The official date for the band’s birth is 27th of September, 2001.

2002/2012 YEARS

The band line up has changed different times during these years :

• as bass players : Federico Capra, Francesco Cuzzocrea and Michele Corrias;
• guitar : Claudio Cuzzocrea, Daniele Manca (already guitar player of Shardana)
• drums : Michele Sanna

Even if the band’s live activity increased a lot, allowing Coma to play with lot of different artists such as Rebel Devil, Pino Scotto, Gama Bomb and Mnemic, Coma never stopped to write and produce new material. In 2009 a first demo tape containing three songs containing (No Love Only Hate, Last Aim e Old Man) became available in local underground circuits.

In 2012, while the band is recording their first album “Mindless” with a new stable line up (Fabio Sinibaldi, Daniele Manca, Antonio Sanna, Michele Sanna), the band signs for Master’s Out Of Control Tour across europe, which took place beetween november and dicember of the same year.

In January 2013 “Mindless” has been released.
